Illustrator characters.
Above is a number of characters I made on the Adobe Illustrator programme. I was given the task to create characters out of typography, so I decided to base my letters on an insect theme. The character to the right was made as part as my Extraordinary Journey project.

Mixed Illustration Development
These illustrations were taken from my sketchbooks containing my Extraordinary Journeys project and my Creative Review project. To the left I have rendered the Ekundayo image by using brusho ink and acrylic. To the right is a few developments on making my illustration for my front cover.
Observational Drawing Development.
These two pages were taken from my observational drawing sketchbook. These two pages show an observational drawing of a stone, and viewfinders of a sheep skull.
Illustrated Poetry Development
These two pages are showing my development to create an idea on what my main character would look like for my Illustrated Poetry book.
Beautiful Monsters Development
Amongst the other photographs I chose to include within my final design for my Beautiful Monster photography, these were other photographs I had taken. These photographs also reflect the meaning of beautiful.
Typografik remake - front cover and contents page.
This is a front cover and contents page which I designed in the style of Typografik magazine. We had to use typography within this cover so I decided to create an illusion with the word "inquisitive".
Penguin Classics book cover remake - Lord Of The Flies.
For this brief we had to redesign a variety of Penguin Classics books. I chose to base my work on the childrens book Lord Of The Flies.
Beautiful Monsters - Mixed media collage.
This collage was influenced by my Beautiful Monsters photography. I chosen to create a college use photographs of beautiful people and rearrange the features to make them look completely different and bizarre looking.
Beautiful Monsters - Photography.
Beautiful Monsters was a project that was set where we had to reflect both beautiful things and monstrous things. These photographs were taken to reflect objects which I thought represented the meaning of beautiful.
Extraordinary Journeys - A life cycle of a butterfly.
The aim of this brief was to show a journey throughout a sequence of imagery. I chose to re-create the life cycle of a butterfly using influence from artists such as Alex Pardee and Ekundayo. To create this I used fineliner and digital techniques.
Creative Review - TBWA Manchester.
For this brief we had to re-design a cover which reflected a local design agency for Creative Review magazine aswell as a double page spread. I based my design on TBWA Manchester. TBWA Manchester believe in using "disruption" to make their work unique and "stand out from the crowd". I used the form disruption to show to transform something ordinary to something extraordinary.
Mixed Media Issues Drawings.
These two images were created to reflect war issues occuring around the world. I used brusho ink, acrylic paints, fine liner, black marker collage and digital media to create this.
Illustrated Poem- Education For Leisure.
For this brief, Illustrated Poetry, I was told to re-create a poem and make it into a book by using mixed media techniques. I chose to re-create the poem Education For Leisure by Carol Ann Duffy. To create this, I used a collage technique aswell as sewing.
Observational Drawing.
Here is a range of fineliner drawings and a final pencil drawing which I created by observing sheep skulls.
